Desert Botanical Garden

Phoenix, AZ

Most major cities are proud to have a recognized botanical garden and Phoenix is fortunate to have one of the premier botanical gardens in the country, The Desert Botanical Garden.  The 140 acres of botanical garden founded in 1939 features desert trails, over 50,000 plants on display, temporary and permanent exhibitions, and seasonal experiences including such nationally acclaimed exhibitions as the Dale Chihuly exhibit.

The Desert Botanical Garden is a wonderful venue for special events and weddings with its terraces, courtyards, and pavilions.  Venues within the garden to accommodate 10-250 guests include Dorrance Center, Webster Center, the Steele Herb Garden, the Binns Wildflower Pavilion and others.  We have catered over 100 weddings and special events in the past five years at the garden, from intimate small affairs to large and grand.  Each one has been unique and special.  When looking for a wedding or event venue we highly recommend the Desert Botanical Garden, particularly if seeking a venue that embodies the southwest.

Our chef and event coordinator work closely with our event planning and catering clients to ensure that the menu is a reflection of the client's desires and budget with the assurance that the culinary team will flawlessly execute an outstanding meal, whether buffet or seated dinner.  Many clients wish to serve a southwest inspired menu and items such as chipotle rubbed beef tenderloin, achiote shrimp, and green chili mac and cheese are just a few of our southwestern chef creations.  In addition to catering, we can provide linens, tables and chairs, and table decor for the perfect well-appointed event.

When it comes to weddings, the garden is spectacular at sunset and any of the venues within the garden capture the essence of the southwest. We pride ourselves in fulfilling the dreams and desires of clients in executing weddings and events.  We ensure that the cuisine and service is extraordinary and that we execute on "Imagine the possibilities"!
